I don't think he and that Kris guy are actually close friends.
In my opinion, I'd say he is a "friend" when Wlad needs to train at his gym and in that case, Wladimir is paying him to train there.
Kris is very close to Shannon Briggs.

He also wasn't with Wladimir and Wladimir invites all who visits Kiev to tour his museum and Kiev in general. #Obsessed (which is so annoying and cheesy that he keeps using this hashtag) I don't think they're as close as you assume. No but I can't knock his hustle, after all he was trying to secure a fight with him. Not that he deserved it but again, I can't knock him for trying. That would have been a great pay check for him had he landed a fight with Wladimir. Shannon compared to Wladimir is better to fans by a huge landslide. You go to his Instagram or Twitter, you see all his interactions with fans of any race, religion, background. I have NEVER seen that with Wladimir. Hell he doesn't even post his own things on social media or stay interacted with his fans. I also don't like how Wladimir is with his Ukrainian fans over other fans either. So, I do think Shannon is better toward fans in general. |
