There is no need to make excuses. Had Wlad continued to go for the kill he may have gassed himself out in the process. Tho he's right about the nothing left to prove thing. When has Wladimir ever gassed himself out in a fight? Hardly ever. Besides when he fought I believe Lamon Brewster and Sanders. Fact is, Joshua would've lost had Wladimir continued pressing on him. He held off under advice from Vitali in the corner and it makes complete sense since he backed off and allowed Joshua to get back into the fight. It's not an excuse, it's a fact. I hope he does come back and beat the shit out of your fav though.  He didn't gas against Sanders, since it didn't go long enough for that to happen. He gassed against Ross Puritty in his first loss.
Anyone can gas if they overextend themselves. It can cause an adrenaline dump. Which is what happened to Joshua during the fight.
I'm not even a fan of Joshua's to be honest. I'm not much of a fan of the HW's. Heavyweight fights are usually boring.

Yeah over a decade ago and same with the others basically  You just don't want to give Wlad praise cause you hate him so much as a fighter. You believed he would show up like he did vs Fury and he didn't yet you still say nothing but "he should retire, nothing left to prove", is that cause you worry he actually can beat Joshua and almost did? I will back up here, I agree he doesn't have anything to prove. He's already done it all but I don't think he should retire. He's not the first winning (for a long period of time) kind of athlete to get hate or have haters looking for anything to discredit accomplishments and talent. Hell I hate Brady, James and many more. |

Wlad was not gassed vs Joshua. He was in control of the fight until he caught the uppercut. Maybe you should go watch it again. |

It is fact that Fury isnt an active fighter...why would AJ WANT to set something up with him? He's not reliable. Fury was hugely fat just about a month ago (how much could he have lost by now)
The ONLY people who would care about an AJ/ Fury fight would be the UK.....not the greatest business decision coming off of the biggest, successful Heavyweight fight in several years IMO
